About Us
The Black Volleyball Circuit (BVC) is a national organization dedicated to increasing access, visibility, and opportunity for minority volleyball athletes. We exist to create culturally relevant spaces where players of color can develop, compete, and connect with resources that support their journey on and off the court.
Our mission is rooted in representation, empowerment, and equity. Through elite training, exposure events, and community-driven programming, we work to ensure that Black and minority athletes are seen, supported, and celebrated at every level of the game.
At the heart of our work is our signature program — the HBCU Showcase®. This one-of-a-kind experience brings top high school volleyball talent face-to-face with coaches from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Showcase provides athletes with the opportunity to compete in front of HBCU programs, gain recruiting exposure, and participate in workshops focused on college readiness, scholarships, and the importance of legacy.
Held in cities across the country, the HBCU Showcase® has become a powerful platform for athletes, families, and institutions to come together and build community through the sport of volleyball.
Whether you're a player, parent, coach, or partner — the Black Volleyball Circuit is where culture and competition meet.
